Every year on the Saturday before Christmas the Santa Barbara Mission has a wonderful tradition. On the steps of the mission by the light of hundreds of candles and luminaries, they sing Christmas carols. After the carols they have a blessing of the Creche (the live nativity scene.)

Thanks Anon! They do this every year the Saturday evening before Christmas. This year was a little light because of the rain, but it was still very beautiful!
