The Public Post feature has been updated! Registered users can post directly to the Santa Barbara View, and readers can now comment on your public post.
It’s easy to become a citizen journalist. 1) Login 2) Click on Submit News and a form will appear at the bottom of this page 3) Pen a Public Post!
All entries will be visible and available for comments on the Public Post Page
Citizen journalism is the concept of members of the Santa Barbara community playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing and disseminating news and information. You can use the Public Posts feature to pen a commentary, submit breaking news, offer a restaurant review, or to promote an event. But please think it through, because when you add a Public Post, someone else’s gets knocked down the list. And please keep it clean.
