KEYT, Santa Barbara’s best source for reliable news, is reporting that a shooting took place on the Eastside of Santa Barbara last night. A teenager was purportedly shot in the arm and taken to Cottage Hospital. Stabbings have turned into shootings.

It was only a matter of time. Unfortunately stray bullets put the general public at greater risk than a couple of gang bangers stabbing each other.
So true Jim. The guns are for more of a concern because usually innocent people get caught in the crossfire. Glad reliable news sources are giving us the information, factual at that, to keep us informed. We also need to do a better job of redicing crime and reporting wrongdoing when we see it.
Just wish these kids could stay out of trouble. My grandma used to say “nothing good ever happens after midnight.”

My thoughts exactly. After all of the recent stabbings, my husband said, “it’s only a matter of time before they start using guns.” Begs the question “Whats after that?”
Our fair City govt better get off its big, bloated whazoo and do something, before this American Riveria becomes just another American nightmare.
