Vintage Views of Santa Barbara

Can any viewers guess the year and cross streets of this vintage photograph from the Thomas Schmidt collection? It’s obviously State Street and there’s a Ford Model T which was produced through May of 1927.  There’s the Granada Theatre in the distance, a trolley car track, and what looks to be a bank on the right? Help us  fill in the details…

This looks like the General Plan proposal by Dale Francisco.

This looks like the east corner of State and Canon Perdido Streets. The bank is the Commercial branch of Pacific Southwest Bank. The top of the Masonic building can be seen in the distance on E. Carrillo St.

How about a date for the photo as winter 1924 or Spring 1925 before the earthquake. The Masonic Temple was completed in 1924 and the Pacific Southwest bank was badly damaged in the 1925 quake.
