Santa Barbara Virtual Reality/ 3D Photo of the Week by Bill Heller.
Did you ever wonder if it was possible to have an aquarium so big you could keep a pet whale? It would seem I’m not the only one who ponders these things. This is the Ty Warner Sea Center on Stearns Wharf. They have created a wonderful place to learn about the ocean and its inhabitants, as well as a home with an amazing view for a beautiful whale.

Love the spot and the image makes me feel like I’m there! Great image!
Thanks Bob! That’s exactly the feeling l try to capture with these shots!
Oh, too bad. Photo no longer available. It worked for the prior Vedanta photo. What changed?
Last week’s image was a still photo, no viewer required. If you want to email me (contact me here http://www.BillHeller.com/contact/ and I’ll send you my email). I’d be glad to try to figure out why it does not work on your machine. I’ve tested on at least 6 different macs from OS X 10.4 to 10.8. It’s really hard to fix what I can’t duplicate.
Works great on my iPhone, Mac and PC – these are wonderful! Thank you. Great spot choice this week and stunning colors as usual.
Thanks Anonymous! Both for your kind feedback and for testing! Those are the colors that I go for. The warm yellow glow of the lighting, with the lingering blue in the sky is one of my favorite combinations to capture!
